Original Fakes in Candolim have some nice leather jackets for about £50.00. My wife bought some excellent quality hand bags from the same place.

how much would you expect to pay for a leather handbag?

I bought a large Gucci (?) holdall for about £15.00 and my wife paid between £10.00 and £15.00 for various designer handbags. All excellent quality leather.

Are there any good ones in the South?

Can back up Touch of Leather - my mum got a beautiful hand made leather jacket made to measure in 36 hours. Fitted perfect first time - other great "under the counter" bargains!!! Fabulous handbags

I also purchased a made to measure leather jacket made in 24 hours from Touch of Leather. As it was my last day I told him if I was not happy and it was not a perfect fit I would not pay for the item. Needless to say it was perfect. It is now 3 years old and still looks new. I can also recommend his handbags. Purchased a couple of bags and he gave me one free. Maybe because it was getting near to end of season (late March).
