I would most definatly reccommend it! And if you're going to stay in Taba Heights make sure you stay at the Hyatt! - It is soooo much better than the Sofitel and the Marriott!

I've not been to Sharm so i cant really compare but if you want a quiet relaxing break in a fantastic hotel with lots of pools, a great beach and some amazing snorkelling look no further than the Hyatt Taba Heights!

You're also in close proximaty to Saudi Arabia, Jordon and Israel so you have great views and an ideal location for exploring the neighbouring countries!
