Things that might bite, sting or suck your blood out........only the taxi drivers!!! Seriously if you are looking for "good rocks" try little vagator. Also Baga headland, but be careful if you wade through the creek it has a strong current!!
And, if you go south, Palolem has loads of crabs at the northern end of the beach.......I call it crab end. There are loads of the little fellas.

Hi also Ashvem beach is very good. Has many rock pools with mussels and other stuff. There are crabs everywhere when you walk up towards the fisherman's boats.

It's quiet too.
