Come out of your hotel, turn right, and at the Modelo supermarket there is a food court down the escalator and behind the shops. Lots of choice, but not English I'm afraid.
Try JoJos or the Lemon Tree.
The Kilt and Kelt just off the Strip. Full Scottish and San Miguel does the job nicely at 10am!!
Full Scottish and what ???
Keep it coming folks. Looking for SCOTTISH breakfast really - to set us up for the day...
The Kilt and Kelt?????????
Is that a real place - or are you pulling my leg!!!!!!
Wilma, Its a real place, good brekkie too, There is also The Scots Rock Cafe/bar situated off the strip, down the little street near The Paradise bar/ restaurant and Blue star bar (Estrela Azul). Cheers Jayjan
It's a real place alright. We had a hire car which we had to drop off at the bottom of the Strip early one morning. We didn't have time to get brekky before dropping it off so popped into the Kilt and Kelt for a full scottish and beers. Was very busy even that early, square slice, tattie scones, the lot. Pretty good. No idea what its like at night though.
Its about half way up the bottom half of the strip( I think) on the right hand site.
See ya
Lummie
Is the strip near the Brisa Sol??
It's about a 15 minute walk.Turn right out of the Brisa Sol, down the hill past the Paraiso and straight across at the " Worms " roundabout - try not to think of them as worms 'till after you've had your breakfast ! -and walk up the hill, turning right just before the jazz/ blues bar. Please try and remember you're in Portugal, not Spain, and drink a pint of Sagres rather than San Miguel with your breakfast.
Trust me Sagres, it WAS San Miguel, very nice it was too
