I don't know if you can buy it in Benidorm or not, maybe the British Supermarkets if anywhere?

When our son was a baby a couple of years ago we took SMA in sachet form and made it up with boiled evian water as this was what the health visitor advised. I don't know if you have seen them but we also took a weeks supply of steri-bottles which are pre-sterilised and disposable.

Go in to the shoping section and they are under the food and drink to go bit.
These bags cost £8.99 +pp for 7 bags, you just put your normal bottles etc in the bag, fill up with water, tap water is ok and leave for about an hour I think. Bottles are then sterile if left in the bag for 24 hours. I just used to make up a day's supply of milk and leave in the fridge as I would do at home.
They also sell those disposable sterile bottles but are a bit pricey at £1.99+p&p for 4.
I hope this is of use to you.

Hi Landlady, When our daughter was still on formula milk we took our own as we were a bit worried whether we could get her brand over there. We also took disposable steralising bags which we got from Go in to the shoping section and they are under the food and drink to go bit.

thanks a lot for that fuzzy fell its a great help to me cheers
You should be able to buy the steri-bottles in Boots or any supermarket or chemist. They are quite expensive but we found it was worth it for peace of mind and we were self catering so like Fuzzy Fell used to make a days feeds up in advance although or son was 9 months old when we first went.

thank you to you all for your help
I've travelled over the past 20 yrs with children to costa brava/costa blanca having breast fed my babies who were between 8weeks to 4 months.I did give some of my babies the cow and gate brand in spain and also their baby milk.I even used the baby dinners as well the nappies etc...In fact I've even been into the farmacia to have my babies weighed during the time they were in Spanish holiday resorts.Hope you have a trouble free time with your baby you're in the best country where babies and children are always welcome .
thanks for the info joyce-e
I have never seen it here, just Nestle and Hero.. the other thing she might like is you can buy water especially for mixing baby milk, I never bothered, just always used bottled water at room temperature, none of that boiling cooling nonsence, also means you can mix the feed jsut before its needed and dont need to clog up the fridge and microwave etc.. most of the supermakrets sell it in the baby section, in a litre carton. then store it in an empty baby bottle when you are on the move and going out.
you probably have more than enough info now.. have fun with your grandchild
thanks you have all been so helpful
