Perhaps because they don't want advice - simply wishing to 'vent their spleen'.

It's great to hear of a complainants success (or indeed, otherwise) as this feedback provides extra knowledge for those of us who are willing to help.

Thanks for the info that the topic is being discussed elsewhere. But that still does not answer my question.

If someone posts in a forum requesting help or advice then it would be polite of them to at least tell us. I do not see it as the job of admin/mods to to do it for them.

Some of the members of HT spend a lot of time researching answers for queries and for someone to transfer it elsewhere without telling people really is not on.

If you ( the poster ) decide to transfer the discussion elsewhere please tell us.
