we were in the corfu marina couple of years bak in cala egos, this is a very quiet resort but as we were only going for a chillout week it suited us fine. we are you staying?

we have been to cala egos 3 times.it is a quiet laid back resort with a few bars & shops.beautiful coves within easy walking distance.if you wanted a bit more going on there is a really pleasent walk to cala d or round by the marina verry pretty views or you could take the land train it runs until late night.

We are staying in a friends house in Casa Suena (anyone heard of it:?)
We like to walk so a stroll to Cala d'or sounds good to us Lessie. We like a nice meal and a drink where we can people watch

Hi Titch, Casa Suena is a small private complex next to the Cala D'or gardens hotel on the edge of Cala Egos. It is a 2 minute walk to the nearest beach and also the resturants, bars and shops. The nearest beach is Cala Egos beach but this gets very busy as the 2 hotels Skorpios and Corfu are either side of it so if you can you are far better to go to Mondrago beach which is a short taxi ride or you can get the boat taxi from your beach or the mini train from outside Casa Suena every hour.
A nice walk from where you are is to Porto Petro it takes about 30 to 40 minutes but is well worth it as there is a small marina and a few waterside bars and resturants that are really nice and relaxed and if you have too much red wine there is a taxi rank there also to get you back. It will take you 15 min to Cala Egos side of the marina and 30 min to Cala D'or side fron Casa Suena another good walk but the best place to sit and people watch is definately the resturant square in Cala D'or 7pm till 10pm, some rather interesting sites go by, both male and female!! Hi 28sac. Thanks for the info it sounds lovely, we love nice places to eat and then somewhere to stroll for a few glasses of the old vhino and to people watch. I hope the weather is going to be ok in June as i love the sun. looking forward to it.

Just to comment on what has already been said..

Cala Egos is a lovely little area that is very relaxing the walk to Cala D'or is not that far but on a lovely warm night it should be stunning and the bars and resaurants around the marina are great to people watch....

Im off to Corfu Marina in may for the 2nd year running Great hotel food and place brill for the kids

Cala Egos is a little village with shops and bars everything you need tbh
its €5 to Cala D'or plus theres a little road train runs alday to about 9ish on the night

so to me is a great place hope you have a good 1
