..............with as much distance between them and me as possible !!!

Seriously, PDLA and specifically close to Veronicas is the place to be.

How old are the teenagers? If they're old enough to go out unsupervised then shoo them off to Veronicas and Starcos - otherwise if they're still at the age where you want family bars, there's hundreds of places to go. We had a great week there last August with my teens (aged 12 and 15 at the time) and would definitely go again. We stayed in the Coral Beach apartments (JMC brochure) which is a cheap and cheerful place right near all the "posher" hotels and within pleasant strolling distance of any type of nightlife you could want.
But anyway, yes, take your teens to Tenerife - they'll love it 8)
See this thread HERE to give you more idea of nightlife - wickedchris's post (3rd post down) tells you pretty much everything you need to know
There's also plenty to do in the day - waterparks, boat trips etc :)

Tenerife is fab for people of all ages. I went lastyear and the year before, and there is always something to do. Obviously Las Americas is the party capital, so if the teenagers are young then, i would strongly recommend you dont let them go out alone. Of course wherever u go u should be wary, but thousands of people flock to las americas knowing that its a party area, so there are drugs floating about. However- the resort is gorgeous, and dont listen to the horror stories about it being ruff, it is anything but! X
