My friend is 40 in May and we are going down to her house for the weekend to celebrate and I'm looking for a spa/health club nearby where we can all go for a treat.

the Grove (Chandlers cross, Herts) Greenwoods eststae (near Chelmsford) Danesfield house (Marlow on thames) & Sopwell house (St Albans) are the closest.
All look pretty good.
