Yes, thats correct. sounds too good to be true doesnt it ?
Thats how much it cost me a few years ago, but i thought i might as well ask on here and see if it is still the same.
We've only ever brought gin back, and my dad ( who is a regular gin drinker) said its just like gin at home.
Im going to bring as much as i can back and hope i dont get caught by customs
and also hope my cases arnt overweight
Well let me know if you are successful and ill try the same
I brought whiskey back last year at £2.50 and it was OK
honey bee is no longer in plastic bottles its in very very heavy glass ones, and be ultra careful with your weight. We were over by 20 kilos (yes I know thats loads but it was a mistake with the bags not realised till we were already in the departure lounge) and got charged £120.00 however other people with 11,12 and 5 kilos over werent charged. Seems they are selective with who gets charged and who doesnt
Blue Riband Gin is available in plastic bottles, it is OK, but I prefer Gilbeys. You can also get McDowells rum in plastic bottles. My mate left the navy when they stopped the rum ration, and he reckons it is pretty good. Just back this weekend and could not find any this time, so perhaps they have stopped selling it in plastic. Blue Riband readily available though.
