Hi,
I would be fine, if any of my sons were the same age, leaving them alone around the Hotel so long as they were trustworthy. Where is you hotel?
In the centre of Salou alot of the locals hang around by the beach playing footie, and also morrocan lads and are usually not a problem, i have been loads of times and have only heard of/seen fighting going on between them once but had nothing to do with holiday makers.
I would maybe let him go a bit further if he met some other sensible teenagers, safety in numbers
I hope you have a good time,
Loulou

the hotel is the internacional II and he/we have never been abroad before so i was kinda worried about being able to let him go it alone, he doesnt make friends easily as he wont go and talk to people (like i do) but it might be different when he is on holiday i will just have to wait and see! :? Its not long to go now and beginning to get excited even more so when i pick up the tickets! i hope.. :fly Do you know if he is allowed in certain pubs etc and if so what ones? ie danny boys for the entertainment etc

Hiya,
I bet you can not wait with it being your 1st hol, your son should be allowed in all pubs/bars/clubs, there is one called La Cage its up by your hotel that im not sure about, its a proper club thats open til about 6am  not sure whether you would want to go in though
There are loads of bars around your hotel anyway so you wont struggle for places to go. I am sure you will all have a fantastic time, PA is brilliant, for adults as well as kids

Hi Rach
Ive been going Salou for last 9 yrs. My eldest lad who is now 23 and nolonger holidays with us likes exploring and meeting the locals when he goes abroad, he has always enjoyed making new friends . He used to just go off in Salou on his own for hours on end and come back telling me who he met and where he'd been. He is good at picking up languages and likes to learn it off the locals.
He must have been about 14 the first time we went, and fear wasnt a word he knew. So I used to worry , but he had a great time and never came to any harm. I always made sure he knew and understood the dangers and gave him all the info he needed to keep out of danger and what to do if he found himself in a situation he needed to escape from
For warned is forarmed. No one can say there is no risk any more. So have a chat before you let him loose on his own , and I'm sure he will be fine ,every bird has to spread its wings before it can learn to fly.
