hi s2anna, we are going beginning of june to skanes which is mainly a beach resort with fab hotels each with a bit of beach, it is nestled between sousse the shopping and nightlife capital and monastir packed full of history with plenty to see and do. many hotels provide transport links between them and the 2 places and bus/taxi services are very good allegedly. ive also heard that port el kantoui (? spelling) is also a lovely place to stay although a little away from others resorts. good luck searching.

If your looking for somewhere not too hot, I think Tunisia in June might be the wrong place for you. That said the Kanta Hotel and the Maharaba Palce in Port El Kantoui are good bases from which to explore. the "tuk tuk" from the Kanta drops you off fight at the watersports center on the beach - snorkelling, canoeing, parasailing, banana boat etc.

I can agree with Helen on this one. Tunisia in June is very hot The hotels in Port el Kantaoui are very nice especially the Maharaba Palace and also I've stayed at the Royal Kenz 3 times which is an adult only hotel and very nice. Alot of the hotels lead onto the beach which is full of water sports right the way along, but look for the best deals as there are alot to choose from. Also the marina has alot of different boat trips going daily, so again check out the prices before you book them. Dont be afraid to haggle with them as they need your custom and you will be surprised at how much you can knock them down to There is also a water park in Port el kantaoui which should be open when you go. As for trips there are plenty to choose from and we found them better to book through your travel rep when you arrive at your chosen hotel.
