Hi all,
needing some advice on los cristianos (i think that's how you spell it) my boyfriend and i are considering going to this resort for a week in a fortnight and need to know what things there are to do. We went to turkey last year and did allsorts and looking to do the same in a different country. In turkey, we went diving, went on a jeep safari, lazy boat trips to different beaches and islands, went to see some ancient ruins, jet skis paragliding etc etc.
What i need to know is if tenerife can offer variety too, like these things i mentioned. Ideally we would like to go diving, can anyone tell me if this is possible and what other things we can do.

You can do everything in Tenerife that you mentioned in your post and more. You must take a trip to Tiede (Volcano) preferably by a hire car if you drive as there is so much to see you will be restricted on time if you go on an organised tour. I would say the only thing to be cautious of are the time share touts. They will give you a scratch card as you walk along, DON'T take it off them just tell them you're not interested as you already own property in Tenerife, that usually does the trick.

yes you can do all of the above including jeep safari;s up to mount tiede at night! there are lots of boat trips aswell to soak up those rays!

Just be careful on the boat trips!!! It is the Atlantic Ocean NOT THE MED and it can get rough out there. Pick your day carefully and a two hour trip is plenty long enough to see the whales. They will try to sell you 5 hours but it is too long if you have kids.
hi, replied to you in another forum...yes, you can do everything you mentioned in Tenerife. Hire a car and explore the island yourself, but make sure you take in the trip to Teide. So where will it be..Tenerife or Gran Can?
