Hi everyone.

Me and a freind are going to Ibiza 2 weeks on Friday (19th May) and neither of us have been before.

We are staying in The Piscis Park Hotel in San Antonio Town.

I have looked on the hotel reviews on this site and one lass has given it a really good review, only thing is, I have looked on other sites and the hotel has the most HORRENDOUS reviews.

People are saying it is a completely hovel and not very safe, people kicking doors in and climbing over balconies to break into rooms, one lady even said it should be tore down!!

So as you can understand, I am getting slightly worried!!

I know you only get what you pay for, and as we have got a week B&B for £150 I'm not expecting The Ritz but a decent place to sleep and keep my belongings safe would be nice!

So can anyone help me? If you havent stayed here have you heard anything about it?

I am praying some one has something good to say about the place!!! I need my mind putting at rest.

why not print out some of the reviews, go to your travel agent and ask to be moved. or say your going under duress if they wont move you

then download the fact sheet off here, and if you follow the advice on there, you should be able to make a claim when you return.

personaly, i would see the good side and be saying its just a place to sleep, hire a safe and you should be ok.

I know where the Piscis Park is but have never stayed there.
It does look okay and is fairly central.
Remember it is just someone to sleep, nothing more and if you hire a safe your valuables should be okay and at least insured.

Bear in mind that you are going very early in the summer season.
The big nightclubs on the island don't start to open until mid June and the resort will therefore not be as busy as in July and August and more importantly the hotel will have been closed from 31st October (at the latest, possibly earlier) until 1st May at the earliest.

This means any repairs or redecorating will be fresh and as there won't have been lots of people staying there prior to you this season, the hotel won't have taken a hammering off the undesirable teenage holidaymaker types who frequent cheap San Antonio hotels in large groups in high season and do the sort of things mentioned in the horror story reviews.

We enquired about moving but it would cost us more money each and we are on a really low budget so decided that we'd rather save our money for the booze instead of spending it on a nicer hotel!

To be fair this hotel could be nice though. There must be thousands of people visting this hotel each year and if there are only 10 bad reviews, it can't be that much of a hell hole.

Thats a good point about decorating etc I hadn't thought of that!

Thomsons said we can have choice of room aswell so if we dont like our location in the hotel we can be moved which I thought was good of them!

Never mind, I'm just counting down the days!! 15 now!!! WOOHOO!!

I've PM'd you some recent reviews from another site.

It seems people who stayed there in 2003 and 2004 said it was poor, but those who stayed there in 2005 said it was good.
