Am I getting ripped off? Here's my story:
Today on my way to buy a sandwich during college, I happen to walk past Thomas Cook, and I can't help but have a quick look to see what the prices are like for summer...
I end up being told that a week BnB in Golden Sands would cost me £250pp at the end of june. I reply that I would have to check with the boyfriend on the price, because it is way over budget (bless the little students!).
After popping out (and still forgetting my sandwich) I pop back in, armed with the £20 off code of HU-SUNNY (which will work all summer by the way) and explain that it costs too much. After popping back to college for a class, I head back. Magically, the price has dissolved and I walk away with a price of £170pp for the week.
It's at the Hotel Tintyava, which has good (albeit few) reviews. The dates are 29th June-7th July. Transfers, flights, travel insurance... The works are included.
Have I just been fortunate, or have I been "had"?
Any replies would be good, because I'm becoming increasingly paranoid about this!
Cheers,
Love
Maz
(And I never did get that sandwich!)
Thomas Cook (online booking) is quoting £417.98 for a week's B&B at the Tintyava on 29th June from Gatwick for two people (£208.99 each) with insurance etc., including an alleged £30 'online booking discount', so you appear to have had a bargain.
Baldur
The Catch is the Bulgarian Sandwiches are worth waiting for and you will enjoy it more having had to wait
Gosh! Not bad considering I've never booked a holiday before! Love it!
