The Gran Chapparel Centre has some nice English/Irish pubs and there are loads of good bars (with drag-queen entertainers) downstairs in the Yumbo Centre (upstairs is great for shops). There is another centre with lots of Irish bars but it was further away from us and as we were all-inclusive we couldn't be bothered travelling for a drink.
We went on the Camel Safari up in the mountains in Fataga - that was fun, there is also a camel safari in Maspalomas, on the dunes. We also went to Aqualand waterpark, the kids had a great time and were allowed to wear their t-shirts in the pools (unlike some other waterparks) the floor at the waterpark is very rough though, so take flip flops and have a pack of plasters ready for later on
