I booked a week at the Punta Del Mar Hotel in Majorca last October, travelling 1 - 8 July this year. Accommodation voucher I printed off shows all the correct details, including the fact that I have booked half board.
Paid the full remaining balance online yesterday, but when the email confirmation came through confirming my balance is now paid, the board basis is B & B!!!
No-one answers the phone at the company, although there is a facility to leave a message which is what I have done.
I see from an old thread that wintersunshine holidays have on occcasion bumped people from the Punta Del Mar to the Jardin Del Playa - I definitely do not want to go there, but at the moment my concern is the fact that I have an accommodation voucher which states half board, and an email confirmation which states B & B.
I have a few weeks to get this sorted so it's not a disaster as yet, but has anyone else had this happen to them? When the invoice details came up on the screen to make the payment it stated the hotel and dates etc, but not the board option, so I didn't know until I received the email that I was not paying for what I had booked originally! Not sure where I stand now with the hotel, and don't want to get there having thought it was half board to find they will only give us B & B - that's if we actually do have a booking there of course......
Anyone had this experience with them before? Thanks.

I also paid my balance last tuesday but I didn't get a confirmation e-mail.When I go into my account it shows its been paid.Why don't you take your original accomodation voucher with you, thats what i'll be doing as its the only one i've got.I am going to the hotel sirocco in Benalmadena 3rd-14th july.
Hi Glynis - thank you for the contact details - I will go and send an email now and see if I get a response. jules - the confirmation email came straight away after I paid the balance. I just don't want to get there and find there is a problem so I'd like them to confirm I am getting exactly what I paid for. If I hadn't had the confirmation email I wouldn't have know there was an issue. I have landed up in a resort before and discovered no accommodation booked for us, and it doesn't get the holiday off to the best start!
I have booked with this company six times, never had any problems.I always either find the accommodations phone number or e-mail address and get in touch a week before I go and ask them to confirm all my details and also any requests I might have I.E high floor and so,on hope this helps

It is a Bank Holiday weekend so maybe there's no staff in to deal with the admin side of things at the moment...I'm sure they will sort you out OK.
Thanks sunbear - I forgot about the bank holiday given that I am Scottish and it passes us by up here! Hi Jeanie - thanks for that: you have obviously had good experiences with them which makes me think it will probably be ok. I'm not going to get stressed about it, and will post back when I hear from them. Thanks all for taking the time to reply.

Many thanks David- I didn't find that thread this morning when I was searching, but have read through it now, and feel reassured that my problem should be resolved quite easily.
Phoned wintersunshineholidays this morning and got through first time. The lady said she has already checked with the agent and the booking is definitely half board. She will send a new invoice to confirm this, and apologised for the mistake in their system. Very helpful and pleasant, so looks like everything is going to be ok. Thanks to everyone who replied. Roll on July.
