I take it from the silence that there are not many good shopping prospects in salou? Are there any shopping centres at all here, apart from the usual tourist shops? Obviously im not just going here to shop, but i do like to . Grateful for any information please.
Salou doesn't have any big name shops - much better to hop on the train to Barcelona & shop until you drop !!
you can get the bus to tarragona and there is a centre there called parc central which has zara, h&m, mango etc. it's worth a visit but go by bus as it is much cheaper than taxi. hope this helps
Thanks sarah. This is a stupid question, but you never know, are you from liverpool too the? I know weve got all those shops here but i like to shop where ever i go. Do you know if the likes of zara and mango are any cheaper there, with them being spanish brands, i know there slightly cheaper in tenerife.
yes i'm from liverpool. zara is definately cheaper in spain than here. i got a winter coat for 40 euros which is about £28 but when i got home they were selling it for £40. also i got a top for 9 euros (about £6) but here it was £9. h&m was cheaper too and mango probably is aswell
theres too much to do in salou forget shopping
The one thing that is a bit of a disappointment in Salou is the shopping, if you are into that sort of thing that is. It is pretty limited to be honest and the variety of shops leave a lot to be desired IMO. There are quite a few shops but they are all pretty much the same. The usual tacky souviner type of places I`m afraid. Certainly not any of the classy clothes shops etc that you find in other Spanish resorts.
