we have been to tenerife 3 times before and touch wood
we have always eaten the salad and fruit in the hotel!( i don't know if it makes a difference what star it is !! we have always stayed in 4 star hotels !!! )
we have also been to gran canaria, lanzarote, majorca & ibiza and haven't experienced any problems!!!
just one word we always brush our teeth with bottled water we don't trust bathroom water !!!!!
