Dont kow if I have spelt this right!!!
They are the annoying little grass hopper bugs that click away in the trees all day long - or they did when we visited Crete/kephalonis in the months of July/August.
We have jsut returned from Crete this week and they were unusually noticable by their abscence - do they only come out in certain months for mating I wonder!!!
Had a lovely week in Kokini Hani - the weather touched the 40 mark - yipee.
I took a book to read The Island by Victoria Hislop, I did not know that it was about Spinalonga - we have been to Crete 4 times just for a chill week - we will be going again and we will certainly go to Spinalonga this time that is for sure.

if something goes wrong and they dont come back this year will let u know.
As i am resident in a small village i have to tell u that the tzitzikia are easy to cope with and can get used to them after a few days. where i am the problem is the frogs at night :-)
Anyway, you must visit Spinalonga next time. We stayed in a little fishing village called Plaka just opposite Spingalonga where we caught a small boat, although doing it this way you do not get a guide. We just tagged on along within hearing distance of another tour. No toilets and take a drink with you as there isnt much shade. It is a very interesting island. Not to be missed!
