Pattaya in June

June is the start of the rainy season,so you cant be guaranteed good weather anywhere in Thailand. The odds are that it wouldnt rain all the time and that you'd have quite alot of sunshine, often with rain or storms early in the morning or late at night. But, it's a bit like asking if you can guarantee a week of sunshine in the UK in July - maybe yes, maybe it'll drizzle, maybe it'll rain constantly. Hard to tell.

Hiya
Not visited Pattaya in June but went for 2 weeks July 2003 and 2004. As the last poster said it is their rainy season. The first year we had one downpour of heavy rain one evening but luckily we were in a bar at the time!! The 2nd year we had quite a few rain showers but still managed to get a good tan. We went on a 'do it yourself' basis and because it was the rainy season our hotel only cost £139 for 2 weeks which more than makes up for the odd shower. Enjoy yourself.

We visited early June last year and had one half hour downpour for the 10 days we were there As you get into July, August and then September it gets wetter, but you will get plenty of sunshine early June, at least I hope so, as we'll be at the Dusit Resort again at that time Alan

gramps would you reccommend the Dusit and where is the best place to book?

Theb Dusit in my opinion is the best hotel for us in Pattaya, it's at the quiet end of town well away from the noisier part and it's all you would expect of a 5 star hotel. The food in the hotel is expensive but there is a host of cheaper options closeby, the transport passes the door, and everything is in easy reach. We booked a package of flights and accomodation with Airline Network who we found offered us the best deals after shopping around.Hope this helps Alan

The Dusit is a great hotel but beware that it is upgrading rooms on many floors from May To October 06 so some inconveniance may be experienced
get your agent to check on the situation before booking. some very good resturants nearby and very cheap can reccomend Pink Garden, waterfall,Munchen House all good value and very cheap

How far is the Dusit from the usual Bhat Bus route?
Reply
The Bhat Bus passes right past both the front and side entrances to the Dusit, never waited more than a second for one when we were there last week, great Hotel, great weather, only a couple of showers, the 12 days we were there Alan

Try the new hotel on Soi Diana. Areca Lodge. Just returned in January with Family.

I have been to Pattaya 21-6 to 13-7 . Weather was a massive disappointment, very humid, not much Sun.
