wWe returned from Icmeler on Monday after yet another great holiday.
Icmeler was pretty quiet compared to normal June, not many English. We stayed in The Munimar on AI basis but as there was hardly any British there it lacked atmosphere. Everyone seemed to going round waiting for an English voice.
Therefore, we was out most of the time, has some lovely meals in The Old Famous, Golfden Moon and The Loveboat, but always ended up at The Chill Bar where we had a great time, the staff there were so friendly.
Exchange rates was excellent, we got 3 TL changed in a small shop, most were offering more than the exchange office.
We had a lovely day with Icmeler Travel Turf & Surf and also Akyacka (?) which was a beautiful place, a lot cheaper in the restaurants than Icmeler.
The sea was cold this year compared to usual but was warming up, we had temperatures sme days of over 40c.
We will be back in October but this time not AI, too many good restaurants to choose from with atmosphere, will not be going AI again.

Apart from the lack of English voices, what was the Munimar like? Are you going to do hotel review.
Was there loud music on the surf and turf trip. We like it peaceful on boats.
We are going 8th July and I really fancy this trip?

The boat trip was lovely. It was booked through Icmmeler Travel and here was only takes a maximum of around 26, all British, No loud music, good food which included steak. Cost £18 pp. This trip included The American House which was in a lovely setting. Well worth the money.
The Munimar was a lovely hotel but there were faults. One in particular was getting warm drinks from the bar, and I mean warm. I did conplain about this, so hopefully this would be rectified.
Although the hotel this was AI one strange thing was to pay 5 lira for sun bed mattresses on the beach. Sunbeds were free, as were towels but not the mattresses. Yet on all the public beaches you could get beds, mattresses and umbrellas for 5 lira.
I willl do a review of the hotel when I can work out how to do it - had trouble, will try again.
