Hi,
Just read from another site, that legally you are only allowed to bring in C£ 100 into the country, meaning that you have to go withdraw money when you need it at cashpoints???
Im not sure if this is correct, if it is, its rubbish.

may have been the case prior to EEC Ascension but now normal EEC rules apply.. why take more than £100 cyp ?? take English and change locally for a better rate
I know, but i would rather take all money out with me...dont really like changing money abroad. anyway im not really bothered about a difference in 5 or so cents.
No one questioned us and I never heard anyone mention anything about it.
From my hazy recollection of seeing something previously, I think the limit for importing local currency on a visit was £CY1200 but not sure.
