We are staying at the St George Three Corners in October. When we have been on an AI before, we like to walk around between the beach, the hotel and the shops without relying on buses and taxis - gets rid of the excess calories!!!!!
Is it safe to do this in Sharm. What are the pavements like for walking?
The hotel is meant to be a couple of kilometers from Old Sharm - Is this the case? and if so is this walkable as well??
Please advise.
about st.george 3 corners hotel is locatedin is such a new hotel- soft opening was 5 months ago- an area called hadaba(the cliff)-which refers to ras umm sied cliff- it is 4 k/m. far from the old sharm city,9 k/m. away from naama bay&1 k/m. away from the dolphinella village.
the pavements i think it is pretty o.k. to walk&it is safe as it`s pretty secured at the moment-i mean the whole sharm.
it is like 4.5 k.m. to the cliff of umm seid you may reach to walk by it,but try to walk by the area of the light house not towards the old sharm as the second is like a resort for the crafts men there that can`t stop starring at everybody.
have a lovely holidays at sharm
It's a long way from Naama where all the night life is
it's not too far to the Fantasia complex or Old Sharm
BUT
as Tourists the locals do not expect you to want to be walking everywhere especially as taxi's are CHEAP --Ras Um Sid to Naama LE 20-30 (£2-3)
