Not stayed at the Mimosa but have been in for the bingo (mum's idea of course ) and for some food the couple of times we have been to Sidari and we had some good nights in there, the food was lovely and it did seem to be a really nice hotel and the staff were really friendly too. It is at the bottom of the main strip so no wee lanes or anything to go up and you are also round the corner and over the bridge to the canal d'amour part which is really nice too. So you should be safe enough, just use the same kind of caution you would when on a night out here.

Sorry can't give you more on the accomodation although as I said it did look really nice.
