We are a family of 4 us and 2 girls 3,6 to entertain. We are going to the holiday village viva c'an picafort. We would like suggestions were to go for days out, we are ai but would like to eat out for a change.
Any ideas? Also how far is the beach?
There are plenty of excursions to be had around the island - water parks etc - and these can be organised through all sorts of outlets. Near to Can Pic is Rancho Grande at Son Serra - horses, wagon trains, other animals, barbecues.
You might try The Old Boat for something to eat. Right on the sea front and with things for the children to keep them occupied.
The beach is about ten minutes walk or so.
Generally if you've got tinies they are happiest in the pool or on the beach rather than in hot coaches and buses.
thanx for the info really helpful. 6 days to go and counting cant wait and neither can the the kids. Thanx for the tip about buses, might try and hire a car. sandy
They are "No Frills tours" and "Art Tours", both considerably cheaper than the trips organised with (In my hote,l the Haiti) Thomson.
If your village does not have Brochures for these firms at reception, pop into the hotel Haiti, you will pass the hotel on the way to the beach, and take a brochure from reception.
The amount we saved for adult prices on the Marineland trip paid for one of my daughters to go for "free" compared to the thomson tours
