we went in first week in december and had to book a table at weekends
they are that busy

the irish welcome is a good night, live entertainment 9.30pm - 12, its a really good friendly atmosphere, its not too far from your hotel, head towards the main prom and its just before chicagos, there is a strip of bars and the irish welcome is the 2nd bar along, hope you have a good time, we fly out 7th april, so i'll be off the to the irish welcome for a few guiness'

also i forgot to mention that the bistro is fantastic, if you walk passed the irish welcome, you'll come to a bar called churchills just passed there turn right and the bistro is just up on the left, they have a website just type the bistro los cristianos and it shows you full menu etc and reviews, its well worth a visit, let us know on your return if you went and how you rate it

hi if you want a nice meal go to the brassiera you have to book and it is closed on a tuesday the steaks are fab
it is up by the crisian sur apartments if you come out of your hotel cross the road up by the thomson compex atilandia apartment go to top of road and turn left you have to book so as soon as you get there you must book
if you want a night and a cheap drink bar called big ben turn right out of hotel and cross the road as if walking to arona gran there are a few bes up there the chuch next door as entertainment on every night

Agree with Sam38 regarding The Bistro, an excellent, imaginative menu with good service. Try the specials board.

With regards brasseria, BOTTY. i think you will find it is called el brasero. I assume you are on about the one just set back painted in white with just a few tables outside and a few in.

Remember this place well and they remembered me 12 months later when i called to see them again. The previous 12 months i got a little drunk, well a lot actually, on the old vodka and red bull. I was a little loud, but they welcomed me back with open arms along with friends of mine. There was 12 of us in total and it is a great night out and we always have the lamb special in garlic on a bed of sliced potatoes with broccoli.

hi yes it is called brasseria we went a lot there when we where there for 5 weeks in january love the sirlion steak and pepper sauce
we are going next febuary for 5 weeks again so we be looking forward to going again
we are looking to go to torviscas area in november so may go up to loscristanos a few nights

Hi BOTTY(sue), we are actually staying at a lovely complex just round the corner called DINASTIA. In all my years travelling to tenerife we have always stayed in the oasis del sur district, In my opinion probably the best part of the island as far as apartments are concerned.
