Personally i've never seen any in Protaras but I always go to certain places so may not have noticed.

I'm quite happy to try the cypriot food but I was just wondering as I've never seen it mentioned on here.

There's always a meze! That's pretty much all you can eat!

If you don't mind Indian/Chinese/Thai food there's an all you can eat away from the main protaras bar area. If you walk up to the Sfinx bar from Bar Street, then turn right, walk about 200 yards and cross the road, there's a place called The Dragon which does all you can eat for about £7 I think.

Its not the first Chinese you come to (also called the Dragon I think - confusing - but hey - its Cyprus), but further on from there. Its a very modern looking place and very good.

if you are going for a meze, remember that the bread and salad will be left on your table throughout the meal, so dont fill up on bread etc before the rest of the dishes arrive.
also, once you start to fill up it is worth asking what dish will be served next as you can always decline this so you dont miss out on something you may like because you are full up.
finally, a meze is a meal that the locals may spend 3 hours on. it is not something that you have if you only want a quick feed.
i have seen all you can eat buffets in limassol, but do not recall any in protaras area, but not been there for a few years.

I'm sure the Pizza place on the main street in Protaras does all you can eat.

I do intend having meze while we're away. We had it in BiL's wedding there 3 years ago. :D :D

There used to be a Pizza Inn in Napa near the now Napa Plaza which we would go to when we fancied pizza rather than Pizza Hut which we go to at home. Pizza Inn used to do an all day buffet but that was 3 years ago when we were last there. Hoping there is still one in Napa when we return in 18 days. :fly

We love the Cypriot food especially the Mezes but will probably still fancy pizza sometime.

There is the Pizza Inn on the main strip in Protaras which did an all you can eat meal (as well as Pizza Hut) and as someone has said there is the all you can eat buffet up on the main road near the Anatolia Restaurant/American Diner place ~ they did Chinese, Indian and Thai food, and it was, when we were there (May/June) £6.00 for the all you can eat meal. You cant miss it, its very bright and well lit lol but it was never overly busy.... :)
hope that helps

I can recommend a fab restaurant in Ayia Napa called the Gilded Apple the portions are huge and the food is fantastic! I'd heartly recommend the chicken and leek pie its the best I've ever tasted and I'm not easy to please, they also do a Sunday dinner on a Sunday between 12-4 we had one on the last day of our holiday and it was also fantastic again a big portion and very reasonably priced. Its on Kero Nero Avenue opposite the Margadina Hotel.

Hi the pizza inn on the strip do 20 different salads, 5 different pizzas, spare ribs, chicken wings.

All you can eat CYP £3.25

All quality I travelled with 6 and 3 year old and they loved it.

:yipee That's just what I wanter to hear - Pizza Inn still exists in Ayia Napa.

We do generally stay clear of Pizza Hut,McD's,KFC and the rest when on holiday but have enjoyed a visit to Pizza Inn on our previous visits. 8)

we did the classic Meze thing.. you start eating this and that.. bit of bread.,.some salad.. get some houmous on the bread, bit of this, then you get some little dishes of meat stews (stiffado, afelia etc) so your thinking better get some more of the bread down me... just as you are cleaning the plates off out they come with another plate full of grilled meats and cheese..... where is that going to fit?... LOL
