This is worrying me now as i am so prone to bites....ive got the avon aftersun with repellent, a boots spray and 2 rooms plugs dont know what else to get???????? The mozzie repellent is going to cost as much as the hols at this rate!!!!

as far as i am aware most people were saying that the stuff they bought from here in the UK none of it worked. some one was saying to get deet was ok try the chemist for this

most of the stuff you buy as 50% deet in ,but there is some stuff they sell over there and it,s not that expensive just a couple of quid .you will be able to buy this at the shop in the hotel,or in the shop just down the street from the hotel(it will probebly be cheaper there)but to tell you the truth i don,t think anything works .best thing to do is wait till you get bit and see the doctor for some cream he gave my brother in law some for the swelling and some to stop the itching.and we all used it. the second week did,nt seem as bad as the first may be it was because we looked more like the locals with our tans.

What mossie repellant did anyone find useful or otherwise? Presumably because it is such a problem at PP and PT you need the extra strength stuff? I am taking mossie bands (to wear round wrists and ankles) and extra strength Jungle Formula!! What type of plug ins have been effective? Is it mostly a problem at night, or do they bite all day!!
