I wish we'd gone to Dinan now , we saw the signs for it on our way to Mont St Michel but went past
Looking to maybe have a day in St Malo when we come off the ferry, so any tips of what to see and do, and where we can park, etc, would be appreciated
My mum did a day trip to St Malo from Jersey a few years ago and was quite impressed by it. They walked round the walls, which unlike many old cities are intact, as this gave views of both the city and the coast. They obviously didn't have a car but my Brittany book advises that you leave your car outside the ramparts near Porte St-Vincent.
We are just back from brittany and visited st malo. We used the park and ride. It is sign posted well as you enter st malo and costs 2.50 euro to park (or thereabouts) and buses run every 15 minutes. We went to the walled in part in the port. Its really worth seeing - loads of outlet stores for designer shops, etc, lots of restaurants and history.
