There is a fantastic town within a wall full of shops and restaurants , so much atmospere but some places are exspensive , depends what sort of weekend you want .Im sure if you ask a friendly frenchman that he will lead you in the direction of a local club , but it is deff not a lager fuellled town!
Depends what sort of hen night your looking for ! but well worth a visit .

Hi,we're thinking of camping in St Malo,we camped there about 20 years since, the site we used was on the hill over looking the bay, does anyone have any info regarding this site?Failing this does anyone recommend any sites within walking distance of the town.
Thanks in anticipation.

Going to Noyalo in September (small village near vannes) but we dont get the property until 4pm, and in previous years the day had dragged.

Looking to maybe have a day in St Malo when we come off the ferry, so any tips of what to see and do, and where we can park, etc, would be appreciated :)

My mum did a day trip to St Malo from Jersey a few years ago and was quite impressed by it. They walked round the walls, which unlike many old cities are intact, as this gave views of both the city and the coast. They obviously didn't have a car but my Brittany book advises that you leave your car outside the ramparts near Porte St-Vincent.

We are just back from brittany and visited st malo. We used the park and ride. It is sign posted well as you enter st malo and costs 2.50 euro to park (or thereabouts) and buses run every 15 minutes. We went to the walled in part in the port. Its really worth seeing - loads of outlet stores for designer shops, etc, lots of restaurants and history.
