Save us some sun ----- six weeks tomorrow till we go to kefalos

Flying out to Kefalos on 31st August for two weeks of lovely Greek hospitality, great food, peace and quiet. I just cant wait. People keep trying to get me to holiday in places like Thailand, Florida etc. No thanks I am loyal to the Greek Islands have loads of fun all you guys travelling out to the islands enjoy yourselves I sure will!!!!

Hi pipefitter! In which resort in Kos are you staying? I've stayed in Kos Town and Kardamena and had two fantastic holidays.

6 Weeks on Saturday for me. 7th October off to Kardemena for two weeks of (hopefully) Sun, Sea, Mythos and total relaxation.

we are off on wed october 4th, dougie for two weeks, kostas and adelfia for dinner, calypso bar for a chill out drink or two, then were ever, have a good hol.

Where would anyone recommend to stay. Late fifties, like nice places to eat, not too far from the beach, near to Town Would Keflos be better than Kos town

Helen T, we are staying in Kardemena.It will be our 3rd time.Staying in the same apartments again.Close enough to all the bars but far enough away to have a uninterupted sleep.Hope to see friends who we met last year.

We are staying at the Agrellis Apartments this year, we used their pool for the whole holiday when we stayed at Mamouzelos so we feel we owe it to them to try their apartments as well.

We have always gone to Kardemena this time of year. We only go away every two years so we like to know that we will like the resort, the food, the drink, the people and for SWMBO the shops. It is the only time I don't winge about her shopping I sit in that little tree lined bar (can't remember the name) just up from Aramis with a book and a beer whilst she shops to her hearts content.

Aramis is our favourite restaurant, although Adelpi does come a close second. We always skirt around Amazon though, their PR's get on my nerves. We made the mistake of going in for breakfast one year, never again!!

We then have a couple of drinks in Artemis on the Sea Front before a wander around the town to see if Mythos tastes the same regardless of which bar you purchase it in. This experiment has been going on for years and I am still to come to a conclusion. :lol: :lol:

Enjoy your holiday and don't drink all the Mythos before I get there.
