:) Hi,Mistie,There are lot's of places to book trips in lloret, tell your mate not to book them through his tour operator, there always much dearer!!
Around lloret you will see the little shops where you can book trips for about a third cheaper, there are quite a few,but they all charge roughly the same prices.
You can book trips to Barcelona, medievil night, waterparks etc.
We did the waterpark trip, but we caught the free bus from lloret bus station,if i remember rightly it left every 30mins,it's a fab day out if you have kids, loads of chutes and slides, and a big pool for just swimming with the added bonus of a brill sealion and dolphin show,at the end of the day,the bus returns you to lloret bus station, one word of warning though the food was expensive and not very special, but apart from that a great day.
There are also lots of glass bottom boat trips, available from the little huts along the beach, theres 10pin bowling and if you fancy a different beach,Fenals beach is real nice with lots of rock pools etc for the kids to explore, hope this info helps you,if you wan't to know anything else i would be more than happy to help if i can,i'm on here most days or feel free to p m me,love,Maz,xxx.

what sort of trips is he thinking of doing??? the exploring kind or fun kind?? we did a few visits to different towns, from lloret you can go to Tossa for 2.60 return each on a bus, nice quaint fishing town,,,,,,nice cake shops too very cheap. or get a bus to blanes station and go to barcelona for about 6 euros return each. direct line right to the middle of the city!! there is a medieval night out too,, bit pricey for us tho.
hope they get sorted,

hi.... when we were in Barcelona there wwere loads of tourist busses that you got on and each did a route,, some one way to see certain things and some to the footy ground, you could pay one price for the trip but get off and spend time at which ever bit you wanted and then hop on again to go to another bit,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the fountains we never made as they started about 9 ish, and the rep said the last train to home left beofre the fountains thing started, in fact we asked at the station and it was 10,30pm but im not sure if we would have gotten to see all the display or not......hope this helps...
