We have booked to go to Layana in October. If anyone has been there in the low season can they tell me if there are any quality beach restaurants they can recommend. I understand Lanta Yai is very quiet at this time and lots of small bungalow resorts close down until November. Will we be totally limited to the hotel?

What about Saladan? Anywhere decent to eat or shop there?

Any tips on the Layana/Lanta Yai would be much appreciated.
