Just got back from Icmeler (4 am this morning) Stayed at the Babadan Apartments for the 2nd time and what can I say had another great holiday.

The Babadan is still a great place, location staff facilities it has got it all, in fact I have just booked for next year same time!

The resort was quieter than last year, according to many people it was 50 % down from last year, this did not detract me from having a great time, in fact it made it better, the beach whilst still busy was not jam packed, and I found it far cheaper this year, even when taking the better exchange rate in to account. Where else can you get beer for just over a pound a pint!

Much less hassle than last year the authorities seemed to have clamped down on it, so much so you could browses in the shops without the shop keepers trying to force things on you.

Did not have a bad meal, best this year were the Romance (close by to the Babadan well worth a visit) Chef, Friends (near the cash machines) and the Lighthouse. Tried the Venice was not that overly impressed, meal was OK but nothing to special in comparison to other places, the Venice apart the other places on the Canal don't seem to have got the hassle message!

Did the Surf and Turf from carols place; I thought that was the best trip for 50 YTL all inclusive, also went to Akyaka for the day which was worth it as well, it being a very Turkish resort.

Did the late Dalaman checkout with Thompson as the flight was so late, enjoyed the trip to the mud baths and Turtle beach (one of the best beaches in the world IMO) food not that bad, very good guide, I would recommend that one for anyone with very late flights £35 per adult.

The only negative point was some of the attention that my daughter got from a very small minority of Turkish men, I will not get into to much details, as it was not that serious, but it was annoying, paying a little attention is OK, put some do not know where to stop.

All in all a great time, cant wait until next year
