I am making the presumption that you will be using a PDA for the Tom Tom.
I have a sat nav but it is not Tom Tom. Can you you cut map sections from the maps to save space on your PDA. If you can do this then you will need to select the area of the Spanish map you require and save it as a map. you then load it into your PDA. You wil of course have to have the required maps registered if this is what Tom Tom do.
I did this with my Destinator software maps and it does work but bear in mind that the coverage may not be a hundred percent.
You could try Pocket GPS world web site for more info on the way Tom Tom works and if it can do the cut map procedure.
Please let us know how you get on.
Hi was thinking about trying to get a Tenerife map for my TomTom . Ihad a look at the TomTom forum and they recon a tenner from the TomTom Website. Here is the link to the forum .
I have followed your link to this site here but unfortunately they state
although they do have the Balearics.Does not include the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla.
Little legs
Which sat nav software have you installed in the Tom Tom? This could make it easier to tell if you can get the map you require.
Hi i have also foolowed the link and found Arona Los Cristianos as said in the forum, But only says Arona i think you would have to chance it covers the whole Island Cheers Dave
Hi Allmen here is the page with maps of Tenerife. When my nephew who sorts all things electronic comes over here i will buy one and see if it is any good .Iselected Europe,Spain then Los Cristianos Cheers Dave.
by the looks of all the links and answers,Tenerife maps are out of the question at the moment, oh well back to the good old fold out maps that you can never fold back up to the original size
Plumbari looking again at hte maps mentioned I think it may only be a street map of Los Cristianos that is available and not one of the whole island of Tenerife. This may be where the confusion is arising from.
If you are on the road to Masca I wouldn't blindly follow what the sat nav says..keep your eyes on the rd and where you are going ..thats my advice
i know there is some roads in the mountains that are really scary to drive on and you need all your wits about you without looking at a sat nav, can not rember the road but at one point i was driving and looked down i was looking down at a shear drop of 100's of feet and the clouds was below me!!! but what a view i shall never forget,
