Hi all
im looking for a touristy map of Kos for when we go there in september, what im after is a detailed map, that has all the places to visit and local attractions i found a few on ebay, but you cant really tell what they are like, ebay maps
any recomendations
http://www.stanfords.co.uk/mapdetails/mapdetails?item_code=134330&loc_id=1541
Other than that, see if you can find any you've found on Ebay in WH Smiths or a big branch of any good bookshop.
will have a look at stanfords and smiths,
The one I have has road map of the whole island on one side, with a street map of Kamari/Kefalos and street map of Kos town on the other.
It was bought from the hotel I stayed at in Kefalos, and was €1. Also lists some of the hotels in Kos town and the resorts.
Andy.
We'll be there late September and counting the days I can tell you
see - got me sungigs on already
yes Blue, we are going to kefalos flying out on the 28th september, i cant wait, driving me round the bend actually, thinking about it every day, lolol thanks for all the help, i will get a map while we are there then.
If you hire a car you will be given a map or you can buy a more detailed one from all the local shops. we found the provided by the hire company good enough.
Be sure to visit the old hospital and zia for the sunset.
Have a good one.
Looney, heres the ISBN number of a good map that I have. 960-8481-47-3 take this to a good book shop and they should be able to get you a copy in a few days.
Zia was something we where going to do on night one, along with the fishermans festival, hospital was next on the agenda lolol, we wont be hiring a car going away to get away from driving lol thanks for your help.

cheers for the ISBN did a search for it on Ottakars, and they have it Kos Holiday Map - Geocenter nice one thanks people.
I can highly recommend Zia too - some lovely little craft shops for us laydees to browse around - stalls selling herbs and spices so very fresh, lovely lace table linen and then its off for a few beers and a nice relax to watch the sunsetting. Another good place to view sunset is over on Wave Beach - a nice taverna down there too. Looney we will have had a day there by the time you arrive so will be first up with the tans, we fly from manc on the Wednesday 27th VERY early in the morning, hardly worth going to bed, flight at 6.00 am, and will all the extra security we are sure we will have to arrive at airport three hours before - good job we are near to the airport, ten mins drive
as is Zia also try to find the Pine Forest just outside Kefalos
