We usually take about £100 in € and our nationwide debit card and use the hole in the wall as we get a good exchange rate with NW, and don't pay a withdrawal fee.

Does anyone know whether it is better to take sterling or euro travellers cheques to GC??

What are the exchange rates like over there?? (and are there any places who offer better rates than others??)

euro travellers cheques.
Christinas in Puerto Rico gives good rates I understand

any ideas what the exchange rates are?? do they charge commission to change them/cash them??
Reply
Take sterling traveller's cheques as you won't be charged commission for changing them, unlike euro TC's.

We have a long running topic in General Holiday Enquiries HERE which will give you further information.
