I would hope that there is every chance that they will amend the booking. After all, it is not a discount on the holiday they offered- just a change of "child" age.
Please remember that where under occupancy rates apply then it may be no cheaper to change the booking. Ask for both prices first. Children do not count when working out the number of occupants as some of our members are aware.
Rang them this morning and they said the child price was never only up to 11 years but when I booked the operator definately said it was otherwise I wouldn't have booked an adult place.Anyway it seems she did me a favour because if I wanted to ammend the booking it was more expensive for 2 adults and 2 children as the price i was looking at had the latest discounts off which i wasn't entiltled to unless i cancelled the whole holiday and started again but you lose your deposit anyway so not worth it.So much for booking early to get a good deal!
