The rate is always better in resort on Zakynthos than here in the UK and plenty of ATM's plus most of the Supermarkets offer exchange facilities.
We were in Zakynthos a few weeks ago. In our resort (Amoudi) we were getting 1.42 - 1.40. Visiting Tsilivi it was 1.40.
I was in Kalamaki about three weeks ago and we were getting 1.46 in the supermarkets.
went to kalamaki 2 weeks agao and the best i had wa sin sofias supermarket on the main strip at 1.48,out hotle cavo doro also was reasonable at 1.44
Back yesterday....Alykes...exchange rate in supermarkets was 1.42 with no commission on sterling or T/C...1.40 in hotels - commission free on sterling..but not on T/C.
