Hi everyone.
I plan to visit Playa de las Americas in two weeks. Thought about staying in Hotel Villa Cortes or Jardins Tropical, but i'm not sure which one is better located. Could anyone tell me how much (in minutes walking) is Villa Cortes' distance from the center of night life and daily activities on the sandy beach?
I understand it's not directly on the beach. I wouln't like to be too far and would'n like to be in the center of the noisy area.
How long is that promenade which starts in Los Cristianos?

Villa Cortes is in the Parque Santiago area...very nice! The hotel does in fact, lead right out onto the beach and has it's own beachclub. There are plenty of nice Bars,Restaurants and lovely Shops in the surrounding area...if you walk about five mins.from the Hotel in the direction of the Mare Nostrum Resort and Los Cristianos, you'll come across the SafariC.C. and Americas Plaza on the left hand side...here you'll find designer shops and others and VERY nice Bars and Restaurants.Everything you need will be on your doorstep,although not in a rowdy area..everything goes quiet at midnight,there are a few upmarket Bars that stay open until the small hours though. Can't comment about the other accomm.as I don't know it I'm afraid.
