We notice when we go away that their is usually a "holiday song" that is played a lot (follow mi leader in Portugal with everyone getting up and doing the dance etc... Menorca did one that was in the English charts but I can't remember it...)..
so is there a current one in Cyprus?... the song that everywhere keeps playing ?
I have been to Paphos 2 times this year & Hips Don't Lie by Shakira has been pretty popular. If you stay in a bar for longer than 60 minutes, you will hear it!
In Protaras and Pernera i've only noticed the sort of party songs.

one that sticks in my mind from my majorcan holidays was "hey baby"..used to hear it every where then my daughter wanted a c.d. with the majorcan version on..we found one..
