I live in Perth Scotland and need to get away this weekend for a couple of nights. don't want to travel to far but would a wee break from the house.
Also can't spend too much money. Any ideas.

My mum quite often gets a good deal at the Craw's Nest in Anstruther and you might find something worth seeing at the Byre Theatre in St Andrews. We go to that area quite a lot and enjoy walking the coastal path and pottering around the shops in St Andrews. My 6 year old loves the Barnardos bookshop in St Andrews!
Perhaps you could try http://www.easy-breaks.com They have several hotels near you and seem to have quite cheap 2 night DBB breaks and I think they do no single supplement if you were going on your own. They advertise in the Sunday Post every week.
