As I posted earlier on the Nuweiba Hilton thread, Longwood have just announced they've added extra seats to Taba over half term - from Manchester so they'd better be ready for an influx of Northerners out there.

Actually there is a 'rambling' thread on the Turkey forum, though it hides behind a different title - and for some weird reason people seem to use it to discuss holidays or hotels instead of taking the chance to poke fun at one another...

Doreen, just seen your message and the echo!! Anyone who is at all interested in Egypt is more than welcome on the Rambling thread as I thought you realised? Briar kindly gave it to us some time ago to try and stop us going off topic on the other threads. I think it works most of the time!

Perhaps, if you could persuade your husband that Nuweiba is far less commercialised than Sharm you could visit the place and find out why we "nutcases", as we have recently been called, are firstly, so enamoured with the place and secondly, talk a load of rubbish on occasion!

Doreen, they're a great bunch in the rambling thread and apart from anything else, Carrot, Swiss, Everest, Alan etc are usually able to answer any questions regarding Egypt and I've always found them very helpful
