A civil servant was rude and burnt out, how unusual is that? Not very really, not unusaul and not unique to any one destination .
The novelty was actually seeing what a civil (or in her case uncivil) servant actually looked like!
Yes, that is an interesting point, why do you think they all of a sudden start " protecting" their borders? Have you had any security alerts recently?
I doubt one civil servant at Boulogne will stem the time especially as we grow our own bomber in this country! However if we had protected our borders for the previous umpteen yesr perhaps things might be better?
You would actually find that the passport control exiting France is British now run by the UK Passport Agency
Well that makes me feel even more secure!
