I've just booked my honeymoon at Meeru for Feb 07 staying in a Jacuzzi land villa.
Having read reviews on here and other websites I was feeling quite comfortable with it, however I have recently found a website dedicated to bad reports for the island! I am also confused about what some people refer to as "the village" end of the island. Could someone please help e out with this?

I think the village end is the exclusive end - adult only section of the island. If you don't book the Meeru Village I don't think you can use the bars and restaurants at that end.

I think it depends on the type of room you book a bit like with the Sangu end of the island on Kuredu.
I think if you book a JLV or a JWV you will automatically be on the villege end with access to their bar and restaurants.
