Hi - staying at the Sheraton Hotel in Costa Adeje in March, just wondered how far it is to LC or Playa? Is there much nightlife nearby (tho' I understand in March will be quieter anyway)
Thanks
If the hotel is the one I'm thinking of it is in a place called La Caleta.
Sheraton La Caleta Resort & Spa, Playa La Enramada, S/N38679, Adeje (Tenerife) Phone: (34)(922) 162 000 E-mail lacaleta@sheraton.com
Here is the web page for the hotel
It lies about 7Kms from Playa de Las Americas and about 10Kms from Los Cristianos. Not sure what the nightlife is like as I have never visited La Caleta

I don't think there is much in La Caleta, we stayed next door to the Sheratan a couple of years ago (Costa Adeje Grand Palace). You can walk to Fanabe where there are plenty of bars & restaurants although you will not want to walk there & back everytime. There will more than likely be a free courtesy bus every hour by the hotel.
Plenty of taxis though & only a couple of €uros to Fanabe or probably about 5 or 6 €uros to the middle of Las Americas, probably around €12 to Los Cristianos.
Nice hotel by the way!
The Sheraton is the last but one hotel at the north-western end of the prom that runs all the way from Los Cristianos at the eastern most end. It's less than 2 years old and is next to the H10 Costa Adeje Palace (which is the last hotel on the prom) in a very quiet area of Costa Adeje. If you look on Google Earth, you can see the H10 CAP but the shot is taken before work had started on the Sheraton, so it's just a bare patch of land with the Riu (I think) on the other side.
If you come out of the back of the hotel (facing the beach) and turn right, it's a fairly short walk to La Caletta with a nice beach bar on the way. Turn left and you soon come to Duque beach (one of the best on the island) and then further on is Fanabe with bars, shops and restaurants. Central PDLA is a very long walk or a taxi and LC is right at the other end of the resort, so definitely a taxi ride away.
