Where are you going?

Hi Brenda,depends where you are going regarding spending money and how many trips you will want to do.
I find the shopping cheap as there is very little i would wish to take home, but the excursions are worth going for.
Of course if you are visiting Cairo and/or Pyramids then you will need more. So you can see it really depends on what you want to do .
I take £400 for the two weeks and always have loads left(for the next time) but i mainly just enjoy the beach

Very little... take your credit card to pay for trips, good exchange rate that way. There is nothing to spend your money on in shops there, I never spent a penny!!!! You may want to go our for the odd meal, but that is never more than £20 for a real pucker meal... we were a family of three in Sharm and couldnt spend more than that including drinks!!! I would take mabe £200 in english sterling, and you can change it over there for a very good rate and use that for meals and drinks outside of your hotel - but just change £20 at a time, cause you really won't need it unless eating and drinking outside of your AI hotel. Then you can bring excess back and avoid exchange rates!
