Hi We are looking to go to either Costa Blanca or Costa del Sol for a week at the end of April next year.If we opt for Costa Blanca we would like to stay in a resort outside of Benidorm but not too far that we couldnt walk there.Can anyone give me some ideas of which would be a good choice for us, we like a place with plenty of restaurants and bars but not too rowdy at night, hence the reason we want to stay out of the centre

If you opt for benidorm you could go to la cala which is next to Pontiente or Finestrat which is a nice quiet part with a nice beach great for swimming, bars and resturants we stayed there and enjoyed it one year, easy to go into benidoorm if you wish

Thanks Rosie, will have a look at La Cala it might be just what we are looking for. I was also wondering how the two Costas compare weather wise at that time of year, I would assume the CDS would be the warmer being further south but have been told that is not the case, does anyone know ?
