I sometimes wonder myself when reading reviews of Hotels I have stayed at wether the people writing them actually stayed there at all. We all have different standards and little things that get on our nerves so someone elses view regardless of how much they paid would more often than not differ from mine. I tried as hard as I could to give a fair view of Renton Manor bearing in mind I have been to Goa many times and slept in 100 rps a night rooms. Like you say it is easy for someone who has paid £250 less than the rest of us to say that it is great etc etc. I like to read the reviews but am always a little wary until I see for myself, on the plus side anything bad that was mentioned gets my first inspection upon arrival .

im a firm beleiver that you get what you pay for.if i got a real bargain (price wise) and the hotel wasnt too good,i wouldnt be too bothered,i dont really spend too much time in the hotel anyway.all i expect in a hotel really is that it is very clean in our room,unless of course ive paid a lot of money!

Well les I think that your post proves my point! No one should pay the full price,. lets all of us teach the travel companys a lesson and wait for a last minute bargain.If no one books early it will work
