Make sure you take toilet paper if your looing!

Sharm would suit people in their early twenties. I take it you're clubbers? Even if you're not, there's plenty to do in Naama Bay. Loads to see and do tripwise in the area.

Chris,

Excuse my friend Everest, he is in his LATE forties so he tends to think of spelling mistakes as being unacceptable.

He is right however, when he says that Sharm would be ideal for a younger couple. There are many hotels of differing standards to choose from and Naama bay is well located for both nightime entertainment and excursions to see the historical wonders of the Sinai. The diving and snorkelling are also fantastic so just go and enjoy! The weather in June will be just wonderful! http://www.smileypad.com/v224/Happy/2Thumbs.gif

See we have been thinking of going to stay at Golden resort hotel, has anyone been or heard about this one. I have read some reviews, and seem quite mixed.

This will be our first holiday together as a couple and want it be relaxing, and time to be alone from the world back home.

Have any of you been to the Pyramids in Cairo? I heard there are some trips that are run? We are very intrested in seeing some the magical sites that Egypt is known for!

Chris,

Dont know how long you plan to go for but have you considered doing a Nile cruise for a week followed by a week in Sharm? Several T.O. offer this two-centre option and you would see even more of the wonderful sights of Egypt.

You will find excursions available to Cairo for The Pyramids, Sphinx and the Museum are available from most holiday companies. They are truly spectacular sights and not to be missed.

i think that we are going to go to sharm, then go from there. Using the hotel mentioned as our base, and doing things from there.

We have a bidget of about £2500 between us thatincluded spending money.

What are the costs of excursions? if only doing them for days at a time...

Would 7 nights even be enough?

Those Red Sea cruises with a week in Sharm only go in April/ October.
We tried to change our two weeks in Sharm in June but it was too early or too late. We then tried to link up a nile cruise but they all stay in Luxor. We are tied to Portland as we have paid a third of the money and they were only going to charge us £ 35 to change that's admin fee not extra cost.
